1.   Copyright and licensing

The authors retain the copyright for all works published in Leaflet Publisher journals. This means that articles are available for free download and reading under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 open-access license. Additionally, as long as the original published version is properly cited, the article may be reused and quoted without permission. These conditions enable the most effective use and exposure of the work while ensuring that the authors are properly credited.


Articles may be licensed differently under extraordinary circumstances. Please inform the journal's editorial office at the time of submission if you have any particular conditions (for example, one linked to funding) that prohibit this license. The publisher may decide to make exceptions.

 

2.   Reproducing documents from previously published material

Any published content (figures, schemes, tables, or any extracted text) that is not in the public domain or for which the author does not possess the copyright must be reproduced with permission.


The authors should get permission from the copyright holder to reproduce any published material (often the publisher; please refer to the imprint of the particular publication to identify the copyright holder).

Building your own table using information that has been previously published elsewhere. Please note that in this instance, the data source must be cited using either "Data from..." or "Adapted from...".

Short quotes can be used without authorization, as they are considered fair use.

Permission is not required for graphs, charts, schemes, or artwork that have been entirely redesigned by the authors and substantially altered beyond recognition.

3. Authors' rights

The authors may use their work for non-commercial and non-commercial purposes, as they retained the copyright.

They may also include the material in future meetings, presentations, or thesis.

They can share their work (printed or digital) with other students, peers, or professionals for personal or academic use.

They may upload or post their published versions on personal websites or any other social and community websites.

4. Getting permission

To avoid unnecessary delays in the publishing process, you should begin obtaining the permits as soon as possible. If you have any doubts regarding copyright, please ask for permission. The Leaflet Publisher cannot publish content from other publications without permission.


The copyright holder may provide instructions on the form of acknowledgement to be followed; otherwise, follow the style: "Reproduced with permission from [author], [book/journal title]; published by [publisher], [year]" should appear at the caption of the table, figure, or scheme caption.
